Our Posture

Waafir does not sell your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Nothing on this page is a request to change that — it documents a practice that already applies to everyone.

Why There Is No Opt-Out Control

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), consumers have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information. Because Waafir does not sell or share personal information, there is no active data flow for that opt-out to turn off — this page is the disclosure the law requires, not a switch.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Some browsers and browser extensions send a Global Privacy Control (Sec-GPC: 1) signal, indicating a preference to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Waafir honors this preference for every visitor, whether or not the signal is sent, because we do not sell or share personal information regardless.

Other Data Sharing on the Platform

We share data with other Waafir users only as you direct through the product (e.g., granting an investor access to your data room), and with the trusted service providers and legal authorities described in our Privacy Policy. None of this is a "sale" or "share" of personal information under CCPA/CPRA.

Your Right to Know and to Delete

To ask what personal information we hold about you, or to have it deleted, use your account settings if you have a Waafir account, or our privacy request form if you do not.
