Market Intelligence
Market Intelligence (MI) reads what your organisation already knows about your company — its sector, stage, geography and the round it is raising — and ranks the investors that fit it, each with a plain-language reason. You work those investors where you already work your raise: on each data room's Investors page.
MI is an add-on at the organisation level: one subscription covers the whole deal team, advisors included. See Billing & Plans for how add-ons work. Investors you invite never see MI, nor how they were matched.
Where to find it
Open Market Intelligence under Organization in the sidebar. The page shows:
- Company profile — what MI knows about your company. Choose Edit profile to draft or change it.
- Matching investors — the top three with their reasons, then N more to see the rest.
- Work your matches — one line per data room; each opens that room's Investors page.
The preview
Without a subscription, Market Intelligence shows a preview: how many investors match, the top three with their reasons, and one free AI draft of your company profile. Subscribe to see every match, with contact routes, and to work them on your Investors pages. Anything you saved stays readable if you stop; nothing is deleted.
Drafting your company profile
Choose Edit profile, then Draft with AI, and pick what to draft from:
- Files in a data room — any room of your organisation you can open. Each value drafted from a file shows the page it was stated on.
- Files in your workspace — a document in your own workspace, or one you upload there now. Only the drafted values reach your company's profile; the file and its quotes stay in your workspace.
- Notes — a few lines about the company, typed in.
Check each field: keep it, edit it, mark it not applicable, or reject it. Then choose Confirm profile. Matching runs on the confirmed profile. A value is labelled "stated on page", not "verified": the quote was checked against the page, the claim itself was not.
Drafting uses your organisation's AI allowance; if AI is off for your organisation, fill the profile in by hand.
Everyone on your deal team sees the confirmed profile. Someone without access to a data room still sees the values drafted from it, but not the quotes.
Suggested investors on the Investors page
While your organisation's MI is live, each data room's Investors page adds:
- a fit line on each firm MI knows, with its score and main reason;
- Suggested investors below your roster: the top three, then N more. Filter them by Equity, Debt or Either; the filter starts from your profile's round type.
Add to room puts the firm on your investor roster. No invite is sent — invite people from the roster as usual. Dismiss hides a suggestion for that data room only.
Requesting coverage
MI opens one country at a time, once its investor list is complete enough to trust. Where your market is not covered yet, or has only a few matches, choose Request coverage. We tell you when the market opens.
For advisors
An advisor on a company's deal team gets MI at no charge, with the same edit rights as the founder. Switch to the company's organisation to work its page.
